And Elizabethtown got thumped by 31 their last time out. Granted, it was to the Commonwealth's #1 team.

I just read the Elizabethtown paper online and it looks as if Etown did this on purpose trying to set records and so on. How sad. Not sure how big a margin is enough but I am sure that 115 points is way to many. Thats is just humiliating the opponent. How bad those girls must feel. I hope the girls on Etown feel embarrassed.

I don't blame the girls. I would believe it is the coach who would make that call. And, that is sad if that is the case.

Mentions E-Town's "five" reserves as though that's all they have. The KHSAA site for E-Town does show only 11 players. Having coached girls in games where the competition was very weak I know this is a tough situation, but I think I would have had my girls hold the ball after this thing got to a certain point.

 

By the way E-Town had beaten Fort Knox once already this season..........score 75-26.

E-Town paper said the reseves scored 31points. My Holmes High School math tells me the starters would hav scored 97 points. That is ridiculous. NCC has had several blowouts this year, but coach Dawn always tries to limit the time the starters are on the floor in these games. I can think of a few games the starters didn't play a minute past the 1st quarter.

Truely classless by the coach. He should be suspended by the school and make a public appology.
