Congatulations to Campbell County they played a very tough game tonight. Hope you advance to state. You mentioned a 5 second call in the other thread but it seemed much shorter. That was the third questionable call from the same official. The other very obvious call was the walk call when St Pat player was still dribbling. I like the switching region of the officials but isn't that region in Campbells back door . I believe they play a lot of games in the 9th.

Bracken County vs. Pendleton County 2/28

They are very physical and have good size. They have a nice inside out game. They will be a tough match up for any team. The coach does a lot of scouting so he will have them prepared. -

Does anyone know when and where the 10th region draw is being held?

It was a great game, if Gilbert hadnt got hurt in the first quarter I think the game would have stayed closer at the end. Not sure why Seddy came of the bench but I think I would consider bringing him off the bench every game. -
Actually they both made different calls. And they stared at each other quickly and the lady official who made the charge call indication gave way to the official under the basket who made the block signal. I dont have a problem with the call except they didnt even discuss the call to decide who saw what. The guy under the goal was closer but he was shielded from seeing the offensive player use her arm to push off. The lady out front did see that. They should have just discussed the call is all I am saying to make sure they had it correct. That is not why St Pat lost but it did have an effect on the team you could see it in their faces.

First I want to congratulate NCC on the win I hope they repeat as champions. I am sure the shooting was not as good as it has been but the reason may have been the excellent defense the Lady Saints played. Letting NCC jump out to a huge lead makes it very hard to keep yourself in the game, however the Lady Saints managed to cut the lead to 3 points by the end of the half, and climb back into the game. NCC also played excellent defense resulting in our 27 turnovers. I felt the game was officiated fairly evenly but the block/charge call where the official under the goal called a block and the lady official was calling a charge was a big turning point, seemed to take the air out of St Patrick. I feel St Pat made an excellent showing on a big stage against a very talented NCC team. LADY SAINTS WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU AND YOUR FIRST APPEARENCE AT THE ALL A STATE, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP YOU WILL GET THEM NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!

Obviously just a typo on the web site. St Patrick wins the 10th Region All A tourney, wish I had done a screen print and saved that error...... -
Congrats to the Lady Saints. The girls are playing the best basketball they have played in a long time. When they play as a team they are very hard to beat, and its taken a little while to learn how to play as a team without the three seniors from last year. Allison McKay had an outstanding tournament and deserves a lot of credit this weekend. All the girls played great and a big contribution off the bench all weekend. Kaitlyn Yeary was outstanding yesterday and today. Coach Douglas has worked very hard to get these girls ready for this tournament, and she deserves a tremendous amount of credit, she is one of the top coaches in the region. Also a special thanks to Rick Douglas who coached the majority of the girls in the 3rd grade (and a couple were in the second grade), he laid the foundation by teaching the fundamentals. Darin Stanfield also coached the girls in grade school and again stressed the fundamentals that really helped the girls win today. This is the biggest win in the girls basketball program at St Patrick, and one of the biggest for the entire school. GREAT JOB LADY SAINTS, ENJOY THIS TIME, YOU ARE A PART OF ST PAT HISTORY... GET READY TO GO TO THE ALL "A" STATE TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A fast start, not to many turnovers, great foul shooting (14 of 16 yesterday and I think 18 for 22 tonight), and finally playing like the team that has won many games together. -

Does anyone know if the games tonight (Wednesday) are postponed? If there is a postponement when will the games be rescheduled? Will they just push everything back a day with finals on Monday night? -

The Lady Saints came back from being down as many as 9 in the fourth quarter. Brooke Mosler made a long range 3 as well to send it to overtime. Nelson county has two very tall forward/centers. One is Drake who's sister is a freshman starter for UK. The elder Drake was top 50 in the US and the leading all time scorer for Nelson County (boys or girls basketball) with over 3000 pts. The jr Drake is only a sophomore and looks to be on her way to being a very nice player as well. Great win Saints and good luck tomorrow. -

Anyone ever thought that the girls may have friends on the team. I know for a fact that some of these girls get along very well off the court. I know that Coach Douglas did not tell the girls where to sit. When a couple of the parents arrived the least crowded area was behind the bench so thats where we sat. The girls moved on there own to sit as a team. Without knowing any of the facts how can anyone attack Coach Douglas or her team. Just as Sumo said this has nothing to do with any from Mason Co or St Pat just someone else wanting to stir up trouble. Just because you may be that easily intimidated doesn't mean any other team is, certainly not Mason Co. I am not sure how much sleep any of us will loose because we lost some of your respect, how will we ever go on..... -

Went to watch St Pat play and it was last two games of the night but here are the results that I know about McNicholas beat Conner Scott beat Batavia St Pat beat Bellvue St Pat beat Conner by 10, St Pat only had to play two games back to back tonight which is truly a big deal for a short bench
