Final from Deming High School.

This will be Saint Patrick's first appearance in the All A State Tournament.

CONGRATULATIONS LADY SAINTS AND COACH DOUGLAS!!!!!!!!!!!

Congradulations to the Lady Saints. I don't believe anyone thought they were the favorite going into the tourney.

Congrats to the Lady Saints and Coach Douglas. Glad they were able to win after back to back years falling in the finals.

The key to this game was the Saint Patrick defense in the 2nd Half. They outplayed Paris.

Hamilton had a huge game for St Patrick with 17 points. I think 11 in the 2nd Half. Douglas with 10, 7 coming in the 2nd half. The lone senior Mosler with 7 points all in the 4th quarter. Yeary came in off the bench and was a huge spark got a steal and a few free throws. Hamm and Swolsky also gave St Patrick great time off the bench.

Crain was the leading scorer for Paris with 12 points. The Lady Saints locked down on her in the 2nd half holding her to 0 points.

St Pat outscored Paris 30-13 in the 2nd Half. The cut the lead to 32-27 at the end of the 3rd.

Paris didn't score the last 3:11 in the game. St Pat ended the game on a 7-0 run.

Mosler, Douglas and Tolle named to the All Tourny team.

This was the best two games I have saw St Patrick play in three years.

St Pat will take on NCC in the All A State Tourny.

Congrats to the Lady Saints. The girls are playing the best basketball they have played in a long time. When they play as a team they are very hard to beat, and its taken a little while to learn how to play as a team without the three seniors from last year. Allison McKay had an outstanding tournament and deserves a lot of credit this weekend. All the girls played great and a big contribution off the bench all weekend. Kaitlyn Yeary was outstanding yesterday and today. Coach Douglas has worked very hard to get these girls ready for this tournament, and she deserves a tremendous amount of credit, she is one of the top coaches in the region. Also a special thanks to Rick Douglas who coached the majority of the girls in the 3rd grade (and a couple were in the second grade), he laid the foundation by teaching the fundamentals. Darin Stanfield also coached the girls in grade school and again stressed the fundamentals that really helped the girls win today. This is the biggest win in the girls basketball program at St Patrick, and one of the biggest for the entire school.

GREAT JOB LADY SAINTS, ENJOY THIS TIME, YOU ARE A PART OF ST PAT HISTORY... GET READY TO GO TO THE ALL "A" STATE TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This may sound like a stupid question, but what determines the all academic team? Best GPA on team? Who decides?
