Not to mention Walters with a ACL and Fowler with bad knees. Everything was set up for this year but for one reason or another it wasn't meant to be. Seven upper classwomen would have been hard for a large school to overcome much less a school the size of a St. Patricks. Let me tell you about the freshmen and eight grade at St. Patrick, they improve daily and step in and play hard when needed, heck the eight grade towers over the varsity. I would guess that Mason will try Brossart success in lets get them in a numbers Game. We Love LH -

Ok, weak on english but here is some History for you. When you got to the all a state what happened. The illegal hand checking of the offensive team advancing the basketball will not work with good officials period. -

Anymore royals on the Brossart bandwagon tonight? Feldman has given you the road to success, combine weak officiating with the will to absolutely plummet the opposing teams point guard and you get a win in your belt. Problem is you run into good officials sooner or later. I guess later would be the royals hope. -
The Lady Saints traveled to Mt. Sterling and gave a gallant effort in a lose to this regions No. 1 team(10th). What I take away from this game is that there is no Quit in these Lady Saints. They seem to be playing there best ball at the most important time of the year. Next up for the Lady Saint is a trip to Fleming Co. on Thurs. and Senior night against Bisop Brossart Friday night.

Just your opinion, we all know how one sided that can be! -
Except that everyone above 275 are the true Northern Kentuckians.

Congratulations to the Bishop Brossart Lady Mustangs they will be a fine rep. for the 10th at the all a state. The St. Patrick Lady Saints playing there third game within 24 hrs. had alot of moxie but little else left in a couragous effort. Chelsea Douglas logged 94 minutes in the all a 10th region one day tournament, Allison Tolle over 90, Makala Likins at near 90 and Allison McKay with Hannah Ring near 80. The Lady Stangs were the odds on favorite to wins this tourney but to me it was against the spirit of the small school tourney to put the smallest of small schools in a position to be unable to compete at there very best. This is were I want to thank last years tournament host Deming, faced with the same situation last year when weather knocked out one night of play, They got it right by moving the tourney back one day.

Tenth Region All A Postponed

Three possible games in a 24 hr. window seems a bit much for small school All A girls basketball. I'am not sure all the adults that voted had in mind the best interest for all these young athletes. Jan. 25th will be the start of the touchtone All A State Tournament, it seems to me that there is plenty enough time to crown a region champ without compromising the safety of these young athletes. -

A well officiated game with both teams going all out. Allthough I didn't like the end result I did enjoy game. Both teams will only get better from this encounter.
