Elizabethtown 128 Fort Knox 13

Unfortunately Ft Knox was the receipient of a very poor display of sportmanship by ETown. We played ETown this yr, and I can tell you they are not that good. Dont get me wrong, they are a good team but not good enough to play this game up in the paper like it was another night on the floor and Ft Knox just was the unlucky team because ETown needed to take out a previous lost out on someone else. This coach is kidding himself and selling a bill of garbage to young kids and others if he thinks this was good for his kids confidence to go out and destroy a lesser opponent. I dont know much about Ft Knox, but they probably are not a very good BB team, that is not their fault, its a system thing. But more importantly whats also not their fault is to be abused by a program who makes comments like, it was good for our confidence, and the whole taking advantage of a few easy buckets comment. Great program win Coach, you taught the kids a great lesson at the expense of other human beings. 20n10

The coach should receive some sort of reprimand and the E-town administration should make a public apoligy for the embarrassment they caused to the Fort Knox girls. I have no respect for the coach or the school if something like this does not occur.

So the starters played 70% of the total available minutes. Does that make the coach only a 70% nimbrod.

 I would give him a score of 100%, regardless!

Well, it appears that ETown coach succeded in obtaining more attention to himself. Looks like NKY Enq is all over this one this morning. Sports reporter Richard Skinner rips him pretty good and rightfully so. My guess is he will get some Natl exposure on this one before its all over with. Too bad it won't be for Winning a State Championship, imo, really good things just dont happen to people like this. Its also sad that the girls that play for this guy is being penalized here as well. Lets face it, they are victims here as well. WOW! 20n10

Unbelievable! Where can I get Ft. Knox High spirit wear? I'll use my contacts in the media to see that this score doesn't leave the State!

Shock...we don't agree on a whole lot, but I'll sport one of those shirts and gladly explain to people what it means when they ask...what a shame?

Someone please educate me...I met a kid a few years ago that played for Ft Knox and she was a military dependent...is this HS made up of predominantly military families?

I think he Embarrassed E-Town and himself more than the girls from Fort Knox.

The E-town girls and the school itself have become poster girls for bad sportsmanship. I think that is ashame it should only be the coach, the girls do as they are told. I hope Mr. Mudd stepe up and shows these girls some class and takes responsibility for his actions.

Yes, it is on the base. It is a DoD school.

Read this on line and then looked at the posted comments for it. I cannot believe how many tools out there supported Mudd's actions from this area! :puke:

The really frightening thing is that some of those posters are raising children...

There are no excuses for this type of point margin. None. Just shameful, I coach and would never ever ever consider this type of victory an admirable victory. I think we all know of teams that we could pound into the ground but you do not get better by doing that. Find things to work on with your team that do not involve running the floor. Just a shame.

It doesn't suprise me that there are people taht think it's OK to beat a team by 115 points. There are so many things wrong with the world, nothing shocks me anymore.

And as far as these people raising children......I won't even go there.

Not too often that I am speechless. This is very sad indeed. Not sure how anyone can be proud of soemthing like this and why the starters played at all past the first quarter. No good reason for it other than poor sportsmanship.
