Agree with all points, I am usually bothered more by the way the ADULTS act and respond than the KIDS!

Quick check of KHSAA shows Shumate is 58-26 (.690) in his three years at BW. I wouldn't mind having his luck. I have seen guys do a lot worse with a lot better talent.

???? Seems like he racked up 106 yards on the rest of his carries, decent night to me.

Bellevue needs to keep a head coach for a while and let them build a program. I think Coach Menefee is a good fit down there and will do a fine job.

Beechwood has been good since Shumate has been there. I don't think this season or team will reflect how good of a coach Rick Shumate is, he has already proven that he is a good coach. Remember this team is VERY young. Even though a couple of kids like Maus and Nussbaum played varsity they are still only Sophomores. I don't think there is any reason for Shumate to be under any pressure in Ft. Mitchell and he has nothing to prove.

Cameron is a special kid. Like his coach said you watch him in practice and give him the "eye test" you wouldn't think he would be that good. But he has the heart of a lion and determination that makes him something special.

I have been worried about this kid ever since I saw him taken off of the field. Thank god he is okay.

One kid from Dixie was taken off on a stretcher, It did not look good I did not see a lot of movement which is very scary. Prayers go out for him. As far as Pike looked like a shoulder injury. He was moving around okay but left the sidelines I would imagine seeking further medical treatment.

Beechwood has pretty much owned DIII for the past few years and I do not see that changing. Dayton beat Beechwood last year in BW worst game of the season by 1 or two and the Tigers turned around and drilled Dayton at Dayton on senior night. I think the Tigers have had 1 conference loss in three or four years and have pretty much controlled the JV level. I don't see any DIII teams knocking Beechwood off the throne this year.
