Pike had 144 yards rushing with 3 TD's and was 7-9 passing before leaving due to injury in the 3rd quarter.

Really wanted to make it to this one, sounds like it was as good as I thought it would be.

Congrats to CC. Dixie may end up with another losing season if they do not have their QBs. What happened to the backup QB and how seriously is Zeke injured?

One kid from Dixie was taken off on a stretcher, It did not look good I did not see a lot of movement which is very scary. Prayers go out for him. As far as Pike looked like a shoulder injury. He was moving around okay but left the sidelines I would imagine seeking further medical treatment.

Looked like a left shoulder injury to Pike but would be more concerned about Dematteo.

 

Pike got tackled at the two yard line while trying to score and Dematteo tried to tackle Gray and while trying to do so, they hit helmet to helmet I believe!

Did I hear correctly that Zeke ended up with a concussion and left the sideline at the request of the doctor?

I heard Pike separated his shoulder and is out the rest of the year. I hope Cov Cath can advance and get another shot at Highlands.

Hopefully both Pike and Dematteo will be OK.

The Scout family's prayers go out to Mr. Dematteo and his family. God go with him.

Nice win for the Colonels. Look forward to the rematch with HHS.

Zeke was pretty shaken up and emotional on the sideline after the injury. He hurt his shoulder pretty bad and concussion is a definite possibility.

 

If anyone has an update on Corbin, please pass it along. Hate to see this kid end his season with a serious injury.

 

As for the game, it lived up to the hype. Could've gone either way, but IMO, if #14 and #17 don't go down, the Blue Colonels end up the #3 seed. We could play the If game all night though. Covcath did what they had to do to win this game.

 

Good luck to both teams the rest of the year. Was really hoping for a Dixie-Johnson Central second round match up, but I'm sure the Blueboys are chompin at the bit for a rematch with the Golden Eagles after the past few seasons.
