Bellevue 2010/2011

Featured Replies

What does Bellevue need to do to improve in 2010/2011? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Bellevue should be improved. I'm not sure they can contend with Beechwood for the conference title, but finishing toward the top is not a stretch. I know they were busy this summer.

Slater and Hoffman should be the mainstays.

Zach Norman shot up over the summer. He looks like he's at least 6'5". He should be a solid contributor as well.

And it won't hurt that the football players will have a couple weeks to practice before the season begins.

Bellevue can only go up. If I'm the coach, I go young and take my lunps building for the future. Does Bellevue have much talent in the Junior or Soph classes?

Beau Menefee still coaching?

I do not believe Coach Menefee is going to be willing to just take his lumps, at least not at the start of the season. They have several seniors who are decent, and also have size. Tyler Ackerson is only a Freshman however, and probably has a chance to play a great deal. He was starting at quarterback for the football team last I heard, but may be even better at basketball. He is quite the athlete.

Bellevue needs to keep a head coach for a while and let them build a program. I think Coach Menefee is a good fit down there and will do a fine job.
