I think he knew I wasn’t going to let him get on the bus, so he just went down with his family.”

Grades are no issue for him and the ACT should not be either.

He should have taken his ACT for the first time his Jr. year, and repeated the test his Sr. year. Can't even take an official visit unless you have qualified.

As stated above, grades aren't an issue and neither should the ACT with him.

Yep. If our coach told us to go stand under a tree, we went and stood under a tree.

I agree with you. This is a state requirement for all Jr's. Don't see how he has not taken it yet. :idunno:

 

My son graduated from LMU, great school and one of the nicest gym's for that level.

Foster was in Ohio last year at I believe Cincy Woodward. He transferred to Newport sometime after this school year had already started.

 

Not sure what the requirements are for juniors over there.

Thanks for the info. I just couldn't see how he didn't take it, if he were a Ky student. I know this years schedule was the day after the 10th region tourney finals.

I believe he was originally going to try to enroll at Holy Cross High School but couldn't get in there for whatever reason, and that's how he ended up at Newport. I think that's why he didn't start there til after the school year started.

You are exactly correct.

I spoke with Demarko's trainer tonight and he said that he is working out at Ashland this weekend. Kentucky is a very very tough market when it comes to Division 1 recruiting unless your averaging 25-30ppg.

 

Or if you are 6'5, can score and shoot at the two guard position- see Ricardo Johnson.

 

Not to threadjack but also heard same trainer is working with Jacob Reiger and possibly converting him to a 2 guard so he can get better looks from colleges. He shoots the ball very well and is a big strong kid at 6'4. His downfall is he couldnt play this position in HS due to the school size and their need to have him down low.
