Hard to imagine a Bengals win in the Steel City

Turn about is good and fair play here. The Raiders dropped a 26-14 playoff battle in the Ville in 2022 to a solid Ballard team that went on to lose a close semifinal game to Male. The Raiders hold serve at home. I wonder if fireworks and the cannon will be back this Friday (guessing the drizzly weather kept them in storage vs. Eastern).

The more disciplined team with the best QB in the state will win. I would guess it's a high-scoring affair with the final margin at a TD or less.

4-down territory the entire game is the only approach that makes sense for the Neers. SK will start at the 20 on every drive and T will start at their own 40 or better on the couple of times that SK kicks off. SK's slow-it-down offensive approach prolongs the agony into the second quarter before the clock runs.

Good job Neers. I'm with Sparty thinking this was going to be a close game.

As we get closer to game day/time (assuming this will not be a prime time game), I'm sensing that there will not be a large crowd for this one. Pulling for the Bengals, as always, but Bye seems postured to take advantage of the opportunity for their first win of the year. An OT tie is not out of the question.

TP94 ratings make this a 1-point difference. In TP94 I trust. I could see a last-minute TD and going for 2 to end up in a 1-point margin either way.

This should be one of the better first round games in the state. Good luck to the Neers.

SK needs to win the turnover battle to have a chance for the upset. A relatively close game would not surprise me. Best of luck to both teams.

Solid D by Ryle tonight. Our offense is too sloppy on occasion. We have got to clean up mistakes to beat the better teams.

TP94 ratings had the Raiders as 26-point favorites. I'd call that a pretty good system with a heckuva lot of effort and accuracy by TP94! I guess the Neers won't be moving up in those ratings.

I think SK will host Oldham County and then head to Louisville in round 2 against a pretty decent team if they beat OC.

Both teams will want to win badly to basically insure two home playoff games. I hope the cannon operator is ready to rock Borland Stadium with solid play by Ryle on both sides of the ball. It will be a great fall night for football. Go Raiders!

Getting healthy. I don't know all the players as in the past. The Raiders were missing two starters that I noticed, the two Gavins: P/K Gavin Moses and WR/CB Gavin Lyons.

Congrats to the Raiders. I'm not sure why their regular kicker, Gavin Moses, was not in action tonight. Hopefully, he will be back. Camels really struggled.

That was an outstanding high school football game. Kudos to both teams for being well prepared and playing with 100% effort on each snap. Congrats to the Birds on pulling out the win. That was a lot more enjoyable than watching our local NFL squad. Thanks to 859 Sports Radio for saving me a trip to the Fort!

SK's QB throws some nice passes. SK seemed slow getting plays off a lot of times.

I'm not sure that TC had positive yardage for the game. Congrats to the Raiders and get healed up during the bye week.
