St. X dominated the first half with a 28-3 lead behind QB Mason Trimble's 3 TD passes and the defense shut the Manual offense down. In the 2nd half the St. X offense sputtered having two field goals blocked and Manual tried to mount a comeback scoring twice but the Tiger defense slowed Manual enough to get the win. Tigers break a two year losing streak to the Crimsons and are in the drivers seat to win the district.

Congrats to the Tigers! Good to see Mason back at QB.

I swear, every year I am not going to get blindsided by Manual, and I continued the tradition this year. They never fail to disappoint at some point.

Mason Trimble had a great game. I thought he threw a lot of yards but didn't know until seeing stat report.

Best performance thus far on the season for the Tigers.  Hopefully it is a springboard to better performances going forward.  I am still concerned about a lack of a consistent running game vs. quality opponents, but this game was a good step overall.
