Dixie Heights (4-5) travels to Union to take on Ryle (6-3) on a rare Thursday night game with Halloween coming on Friday this year.  Game time is 7:00 PM.

The Colonels come into the game having won 4 of their last 5 games after starting the season 0-4.  They're led by SR QB Mason Fields, who is a top 5 passer in 5A.  The Raiders are on 4 game blowout win streak and are finally getting somewhat healthy.  Led by the rushing attack of Jacob Savage and Dameyn Anness, they are a tough team to get in front of.  Can Dixie get enough offense to break their 5-game losing streak to Ryle?  Will Ryle keep rolling into the playoffs?

Forecast shows temps dropping into the 40s at game time, but the rain that we're predicted in the middle of the week will stop earlier in the day, so fans will at least get to stay dry!

Who wins this cross-county showdown.  Dixie travels down the road to Union to take on the Raiders of Ryle.  Who comes out on top?

I expect Ryle big in this one.  Ryle lost a few close games in the middle of the season, but seem to be rolling heading into the playoffs.  They just dismantled SK, and I expect them to name the score this week.  I don't think Dixie can stop Ryle's offense, and I think Dixie will have a hard time keeping Fields upright.  If they can keep Fields clean at QB, this could be a shootout.

I am having a hard time seeing a shootout.  Dixie scoring a couple of times, yes, shootout, no.

I have to agree with Guru on this.  I would imagine Ryle trying to control the clock with their rushing attack, but they still have a solid QB in Verax and great receivers in Lee and Lyons.  Defensively there is still Savage roaming the field, and you've got a couple of ballhawks in Kincaid and Lee in the defensive backfield.  

It will be another huge night for Savage and the Raiders Roll big time!

Right, I agree.  I don't think Dixie will be able to keep Fields from running for his life.

Thanks for that but all the streams, including Ryle's hudl stream, all list tomorrow night so none of the broadcasts are active.
