I am confused by this exchange but maybe that is how football goes this time of year when a school loses but I have heard the same thing from Moeller people who are completely irate that they got bounced in the second round of the playoffs with one of the best rosters in years and a 4 ⭐️ QB that may be a professional athlete sooner rather than later. I guesss one man’s trash is another man’s treasure! Enjoy your off season Birds!

I truly love High School Football in Northern Kentucky and this time of year. I am pulling for ALL NKY Teams and hope that we bring it home! It’s often said that the enemy of my enemy is my friend and how more true is it than in this case?!? How often in this day and age do we have a fierce rivalry like Covington Catholic and Highlands where one school more or less packs the other schools bags for a vicious gauntlet and one road trip after road trip (Highlands to CovCath) and then cheers them on playoff game after playoff game!!! it’s a great night for NKY! Best of luck to the Colonels and all of the NKY Teams!!!

Savage carries the load and Raiders win 24-20

That’s about what I expected. Tough sledding ahead for the Jags. Had a nice little run but a winning season next year would be a monumental accomplishment.

I could be wrong but I don’t see Cooper stopping the Scott Co offense and the Jags will struggle to keep scoring without the firepower they had last year.

This game belongs to the Colonels. They have too many weapons and are well coached. Tough sledding navigating the upcoming gauntlet but I see them winning by 2 scores.

The reason is that I have to go with veterans O'Hara and Maher and I think they have a really good quality win over Ryle. No slight to Beechwood. I just think Cooper would be a tough match up for them.

Covington Holy Cross The Top Two are really 1A and 1B but that is grasping for straws. Cooper would beat Beechwood and I think Dixie is better than their week 1 loss to SK.

Honestly, I thinks it’s great how one gets the breaks beat off of them all year and has the feeling they were close and it does not matter if it is Varsity or Freshman. If we got the ?‍♂️ ⏰ put on us, I would just say, let’s hit the weight room!

That is a very interesting and optimistic post from a fan that just got the running clock! I love Northern Kentucky Football and I sincerely hope your next 5 games (or so) are better than the two you lost this year to Highlands as well as your Varsity loss to the Raiders!

I expected Highlands to win this game but I did not expect a running clock in a Championship game. Covington Catholic is a very good Football Team and in most years is winning the Freshman Championship. This Highlands team is just next level for a Freshman team across the board. It looks like Northern Kentucky will be making some noise in the coming years and that will be good at all levels!

It will be another huge night for Savage and the Raiders Roll big time!

All great players but I don't see how in any way Savage does not win this! He definitely deserves it at this point!

Will this game be live streamed? I have seen most of the Freshman teams play this year and this Highlands team is just on another level in Northern Kentucky. Anything can happen and the weather could play a role but I don't see CovCath stopping the Highlands offense enough and I don't think CovCath can run the ball effectively against this Highlands team. If it is a downpour then that is a big advantage to the Birds.

As expected. Jacob Savage is the best Football player in Kentucky by far.

The Highlands Defense is built for this one and Scott County will not be able to stop the Bluebird offense.
