  • Very good game but the CCH defense was very perplexing to me the last :50 seconds. Why they were rushing 4 down linemen and corners not playing outside leverage was a head scratcher. The pass play tha

I'm happy to give my pointers out, and he can do with them what he'd like.  I still think, the main problem is the fact that year after year it's always been PA on the broadcast. The broadcast sh

The last minute was a travesty by Cov. Cath. There is literally one guy you can’t leave open. Brutal finish. Almost inexcusable.

That final pass was a beautiful shot!

CovCath played their hearts out.

Lorenzen making such a clutch and tough catch to be the star for Highlands may be my favorite storyline of the year though.

Amazing game between two very good teams.

I know the 859 announcers said it a few time but I have to agree.

Litmer by far played his best game this season.  A totally different qb then the one that was at Boyle Co.

Well done kid!!

I know we will be talking about Tayden a ton but Litmer was lock step right there as a game MVP as well IMO.

Unreal game. Hope Tayden is ok. Kid is legendary. Rio looked icy that last drive. Rio overcame that late int to drive the field like that in :41 seconds. Rio shut some people up. Cov Cath is a great team. Cash Harney really impressed me, really good passer and freak athlete. I can’t wait for the rematch.

That was an outstanding high school football game. Kudos to both teams for being well prepared and playing with 100% effort on each snap. Congrats to the Birds on pulling out the win. That was a lot more enjoyable than watching our local NFL squad. Thanks to 859 Sports Radio for saving me a trip to the Fort!

I’ll be watching this replay tomorrow. Congrats Birds.

Actually, no I believe that was the best regular season game between Highlands and Cov Cath. I mean when Cov Cath scored with 41 seconds left I thought it was pretty good but just the wrong way. Then that drive and catch. No, number one for regular season H vs CC.

Highlands won so it may be forgotten, but the play calling after the Gabe Williams punt return was awful.

1st time I’ve watched Highlands intently and agree with everything that has been said about the O-coordinator.

And can someone in the Fort talk to the new student broadcaster and let him know he doesn’t have to scream 1st, 3rd and 4th down every time they come up.  I began hoping every down was 2nd down.

Congratulations to both teams on a great effort and to Highlands on winning. Going by the updates, this sounds like one of the better games between them.

Well that was insane. Congrats Rio and Tayden, that’s something you’ll remember for the rest of your life

Great game, instant classic. Next time they play the winner might win it all.
