It was great to have dinner with the Unrivaled97 family. Outstanding Christian people and I feel like we are lifetime friends. BE is a classy program. I’m happy to be involved with Raider football.

This Shamrock train is back on track. They appear to be 6A favorites. Congrats to the Rocks on the convincing win.

Congrats to the Raiders on playing their most complete game of the season. They looked sharp. QB Logan Verax was terrific throwing and running including many key third down conversions. Total Ryle domination with a 28-7 halftime lead. Then a beautiful end around 65-yard TD pass on the first play of the second half. BE fumbled the ensuing kickoff, Ryle punched it in quickly and converted the 2-pointer and It was a 43-7 running clock affair for nearly the entire second half. BE’s final two scores came against the Ryle JV defense. BE is a well disciplined and well coached team. I certainly did not expect a blowout but knew it would be a good night in Union if the game was not close. Grady Reynolds has turned into an excellent tight end and defensive end. Ryle’s win streak now stands at 6. Congrats to BE on a successful 9-3 season. Great program in Mt Washington.

Would love to see a Highlands vs Cooper rematch. 5A results tonight around the state were interesting. Congrats again to Coach Borchers and the Jags!

Congrats to Highlands. The #1 ranking is well deserved. It’s hard to imagine this freight train being stopped.

Great job by Cooper. Congratulations to the Jaguars. I thought this would be a 49-42 type of game with SC prevailing late. Boy was I wrong. With the behavior exhibited by SC, they certainly got what they deserved - a trouncing. There appears to be a lot of explaining to do by Coach McKee. It will be interesting to see how he responds and what actions the KHSAA chooses to take. This is sad.

Great pregame meal with Mr. and Mrs. Unrivaled97 and family. Smallest crowd of the year by far and Raiders will kick off. My phone is about dead so I won’t be posting much. Great KO return by BE

Kitchen 1883 is also high quality food but a little pricey. It’s just money.

Boomtown Biscuits and Whiskey is a really good new place within 2-3 miles of Ryle HS. Excellent cuisine and not your typical fare. BE has a lot to be proud of the way they won state last year. I’m expecting a great ball game. Safe travels.

I would guess the large majority of BGP members are from NKY so a poll bias is normal when facing a team from elsewhere in KY. I would expect a close and hard fought game. If for some reason it’s not close, I expect it will be a fun night in Union.

The Raiders are playing well at the right time. I look for them to handle the Chargers.

I believe this will be a close game second time around. Dixie is capable of pulling the upset if they win the turnover battle. Crazier upsets have happened. Brach and Brody show will be fun to watch.

Congrats to the Raiders on taking care of business for their 5th straight win. Nice to be at home again next week hosting Bullitt East.

I wonder if anyone from Fern Creek likes burgers? They are next in line for the Male Bulldogs.

Excellent comeback win by Fern Creek. A third straight last-minute loss and fourth quarter meltdown for the Neers to end the season at 5-5.

If you haven’t seen the video about the mentalist visit to a Bengals’ team meeting, it’s worth the 5-minute watch. You get a good feel for team chemistry, too.

I expect to see a heavy dose of Brach Rice when Dixie approaches the red zone. Should be quite a battle.
