Eastern (2-8) travels to Union to face Ryle (7-3) this Friday, 11/7, gametime 7:00 pm.

The Eagles come into the game having beaten Dunbar 27-6 last week but only having 1 win in their first 9 games prior.  The Raiders are coming off of a 63-20 beatdown of Dixie and have won 5 straight, building up steam going into the playoffs.

Normally I will pose a question here like "does Eastern have the run defense to slow down Ryle?" but it just doesn't seem the place here.  Name the score, win a cookie.

It's November and could rain, so dress accordingly for those attending 1st round games.

A big postseason run by Ryle would not surprise me at all but the Raiders will have a much tougher path to a state championship vs. last year.
