January 5, 200917 yr Very exciting game to watch. Clutch shot by Sosa. I thought Williams played great for the Cards. Patterson, Meeks, Stevenson, Porter all played well for UK. Hate how it ended, but very exciting.
January 5, 200917 yr It always seems that against UK that some player who averages 4 or 5 ppg goes off. I mean Sosa has done nothing all year and is an All American tonight. Meeks and Patterson are beasts and would start for any team in the country. Before the game Sosa is the one that worried me...he feeds off games like this....loves the spotlight....he earned it tonight too. Congrats to the Cards, wish the Cats had won, but still very proud of the way they came back at the end and put themselves in a position to win the game. I too am very proud of our two 10th region players, Knowles and Miller.
January 5, 200917 yr There was some pretty good pressure on the initial inbounds pass. But then nothing, I know this sounds dumb, but I could sense it. As soon as they started backing off I started yelling at the top of my lungs. I was soooo angry. Just baffled really.
January 5, 200917 yr Porter 100% did the right thing in playing off Sosa. You have to prevent the dribble drive, and you give up a 27 footer if he wants to take it... I agree. I would much rather him take that shot than drive the lane and get a better shot or send him to the line.

January 5, 200917 yr I think he means on the inbounds not in the half court. As OR pointed out, they did pressure the inbounds. You don't go all out pressure with the game tied because picking up a foul is much more likely than getting a steal...

Have you read any other post I've had about this, where I've said they should've been pressuring it all the way up the court. I'm assuming you didn't otherwise your post wouldn't make any sense.:confused:
January 5, 200917 yr Sosa hit a lucky 30fter. Porter played it right, Sosa would've blown by him. It should've never came down to that anyway. I have no idea why Clark fell asleep at the end. He wasn't into the game all day. Good win...
January 5, 200917 yr UK gave it a good shot. Nothing to be upset about other than the TO's, not sure what BCG got the T for, but if it was being out of box then RP should have had been thrown out today. IMO UK has come a long way and appear to be getting better every week, as for UL they have a ton of upside but appear to me as a team that would be hard to coach, however if RP can get all that talent to work together they will be very tuff...
January 5, 200917 yr Good game Wildcats loss this game there selves wit too many turnovers.Their biggest problem was not guarding the three point line.
