I thought they inbounded it from Mid-Court, maybe be wrong though. I disagree though on the pressure, Sosa is much quicker than Porter, He beats him down the floor Louisville is looking at a easy 2 point basket rather than a 30 footer.

One more thing, I know a lot of people like the way Meeks plays, but i counted more than 5 times were he tried to force things and cost his team dearly, He forces way to many shots and they result into quick possesions and easy points for the other team.

 

With no point guard he has to force the issue at times because with Porter there is absolutely no penetration especially against the zone or loose man like Louisville played today.

You can run offense sets, A lot of the time he just gets it and puts his head down and throws up a lot of terrible shots.

And that near-80% free-throw shooting isn't too shabby either.

 

They lead the nation in Field Goal percentage.

 

Sorry I didn't list every stat. I will say, they are better than I thought they would be. They have some along way since the first 2 loses.

Porter 100% did the right thing in playing off Sosa. You have to prevent the dribble drive, and you give up a 27 footer if he wants to take it...

Exactly the reason they should have kept the same lineup of Liggins, Galloway, and Stewart in on that last defensive possession. You get 2 steals by denying the inbounds pass. Then on the last possession they back off the pressure on the inbounds. Made no sense at all.

There was no time outs left to call to sub in Liggins for that last play.

And has the ball with atleast 8-10 seconds to score, like I said. They either force the turn over, or get beat quick, either way I think it puts them in a better end game situation than the one they played into.

Porter played it well and had a pretty good game. UK still has plenty of work to do and UL isn't nearly as good as they think they are.

There was some pretty good pressure on the initial inbounds pass.

It always seems that against UK that some player who averages 4 or 5 ppg goes off. I mean Sosa has done nothing all year and is an All American tonight. Meeks and Patterson are beasts and would start for any team in the country.
