Congrats to the Cards on the win. Fun game to watch.

Great effort once again by Patterson & Meeks and a solid performance by Porter. Porter had 8pts. but had 0 to's in 33 minutes and made some big plays toward the end.

 

I have pounded Porter on here many times and I agree that he had a very good game tonight. Even had he not hit the one lucky three. He did a pretty good job of running the point tonight, although I am not sure if it is that he has improved or Louisville's guards are just not that concerned about defending. I also agree that he really should not be at fault for Sosa hitting a 30 foot bomb. If he gets up tighter on him, Sosa goes right around him.

I'm happy to see that kind of passion in the game. I love it when players are so obviously into it. I'll take that over lethargy and apathy any day.

 

I didn't say a thing about being upset at the fact they/he was celebrating or that they shouldn't celebrate. Something would be wrong if they weren't.:lol:

I said and believe that Sosa/U.L. should have been celebrating. My point was the "chest thumping", not the fact he and the Cards were celebrating.

I've been saying replacing him would be a major concern since well before the season. Someone has to lead, and soon...

 

I think they will struggle in the BEast without a true inside pressence. Where do you think they will finish in the league?

Here's a comparison that I posted earlier:

 

We gave 4 minutes to Galloway and he was 1-1 for 2 points, 1 steal, and 1 turnover

 

We gave 44 minutes to Liggins, Harris, and Miller and they COMBINED for 1-5 for 2 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and 4 turnovers

 

 

The turnover charged to Galloway should have gone to Meeks since Meeks made a terrible pass on the play.

IMO, Harrelson should play more than he does.

How can BCG explain giving him only 4 minutes while giving Miller 13 and Harris 19?

I know the announcers kept saying that UK had a huge rebound advantage, does anyone know how that ended up and where we might find all individual and game stats??

It looked as though Patterson was fouled on the putback basket he made to give UK the lead and Coach G was pretty fed up with Higgins at the time and voiced his displeasure.

 

Thanks! Boy he must have really said something pretty harsh. Although it was Higgins, so he could have said you are a poopyhead and gotten teed up, because Higgins likes to be center stage.

 

To be fair, I did not think the officiating was too shabby today for a Higgins game. Still too many whistles for my complete liking, but I have seen Higgins do far worse.

UL scored off the court...they got verbals from two of Dom Ferguson's teammates Chandler and Taylor...

I agree with you, I thought he was pulling a Mike Davis at one point, way out on the floor, oh well, IMO Sosa wasn't the one that was supposed to shoot the last shot but ran the clock down so far he had to. Big shot for him and the Cards.
