January 5, 200917 yr Wow, even though Porter was far off of him, I'll give Edgar Sosa that shot 10 out of 10 times in that situation, he just happened to hit it, can't really say anything except it was a heck of a shot.

And UK beats themselves with all the turnovers, which is the trend of the year. 37 double doubles in 40 career games at UK. Not too shabby... In this game, Samuels reminded me a lot of Patterson in last years game. He'll be a good player but he's not there yet. He couldn't stay out of foul trouble long enough to make a difference.
January 5, 200917 yr No way I am pressuring Sosa 30 feet from the basket, It was a stupid shot that just fell, 9 times out of 10 were are looking at an extra 5 minutes. Porter did nothing wrong on that play. That's the way I look at it :thumb:

This could be the best thing for the Cat's, maybe the film and BCG can make these guys realize that if they can eliminate all of these careless turn overs, they could honestly be a top 15 team. They've got the tools, other guys are stepping up. Just gotta get these new guys more comfortable and cut out the turnovers.
January 5, 200917 yr One more thing, I know a lot of people like the way Meeks plays, but i counted more than 5 times were he tried to force things and cost his team dearly, He forces way to many shots and they result into quick possesions and easy points for the other team.

Porter did nothing wrong on that play. I just think there should've been pressure on the ball all the way up the court. If they get beat long or back door for a basket the Cat's still have atleast 8-10 seconds to score. In a game that they got back into by being aggressive I just don't understand letting up at the very end when it really counts.
January 5, 200917 yr Congrats to the Cards on the win. Fun game to watch. Great effort once again by Patterson & Meeks and a solid performance by Porter. Porter had 8pts. but had 0 to's in 33 minutes and made some big plays toward the end.
