January 5, 200917 yr Samardo has to learn to use his size, stop looking for fouls, and play above the rim. Until he does those things, he'll have a hard time. I think he is limited athletic-wise at this stage or at his weight. Beefy kid uses body well...hands looked questionable today. Plays below the rim...

January 5, 200917 yr Congrats to the Cards. They made the shot at the end that mattered. I was happy to see the Cats come back and make it a game. Kentucky has got to get their turnovers under control. Without all of those, this is a different ball game. Also, they need to quit getting lost on defense and giving up so many uncontested 3 pointers.

January 5, 200917 yr Porter 100% did the right thing in playing off Sosa. You have to prevent the dribble drive, and you give up a 27 footer if he wants to take it... You are right but Porter had a view of the clock in the background and should have known around 7 ticks he was gonna take it. Thats just basketball instincts. The only arguement that I somewhat agree with is, Liggins wouldn't have had to back off as much cause he is bigger and more athletic, should have been able to stick with him or made him really earn any drive and shoot. He earned the game winning shot as well. You can't knock a gamer, he simply said i'm gonna win this game and did.

January 5, 200917 yr Did Louisville win the National Championship? Because they sure acted like it after they won. Cats didn't give up and played through it all. Give me a break. I'm sure UK players and fans wouldn't have been celebrating like crazy if they won their rivalry game with a last second shot...
January 5, 200917 yr Sosa takes that shot 10 times he makes it 2 times. That was all luck. But he did make it so lucky him. UL is a solid team that will go far in the NCAA. Man you guys are sore losers.
