:thumb: They say the same things about me as well (don't know anything). Just ask my wife she will readily tell you that I know nothing about anything. .

 

As for your other question, I agree on Patterson and Meeks right now for U.K.. I look for Stevenson and Porter (had a very good game tonight) to contribute more and more and Liggins definately has the potential. BCG will have this team paying very well by tournment time, JMO. What in the world happened to Reginald Delk? How come he doesn't play?

Louisville will have a long season w/o a real post player, players too young and small in the post for the Big East.

You know miracles are pretty AMAZING. TheDeuce said it was a miraculous change from the way Sosa had been playing, and that he hopes the Sosa that showed up today sticks around for a while instead of going back to the player he had been all year. Why is that so hard to figure out?

BCG did not make any of the 21 turnovers in the game.

Larry, imo both will be in the NCAA tourney. U.K. has a longer way to go than U.L. but both imo will make the Tourney. Pitino will have his team playing well by that time. I have no doubt about that. I also believe this U.K. team can be a good one by seasons end.

 

As for this game, as I said, we were beaten by a better basketball team tonight. Pitino's teams/defense are going to cause turnovers, they always have. I really believe that without some of the stupid (unforced, ones that U.L. did not cause) turnovers that U.K. wins this one.

 

On to Saturday now and the SEC season opener with Vandy in Rupp.

On UofL

1. Clark is playing his way out of a first round Lottery pick.

2. Not having a center will cost the Cards this season in the Big East.

3. Cards need Sosa to be the man every game to have a ligit shot at a final four.

4. Goode played quality minutes, need him to get more minutes as the season progresses.

5. Samuels will be back for a sophmore season.

 

On UK

1. They need to find someone to fill the void at the 3 spot.

2. Ramon Harris is a waste of minutes.

3. Billy G killed his team when he got the T. That was just stupid.

4. Cats should win the SEC.

 

Both teams should be solid teams come March.

Who changed their tune? I said the turnaround in Edgar's play yesterday from the previous games was miraculous, and it was... I also said I hope that Edgar sticks around... So your point is what?

I disagree. At the 3 spot, he is the only one that comes in and does not turn the ball over or played scared. Granted, he does not give you much production on offense, but he is a solid defender and does not make stupid plays. He is not counter-productive, that is about all you can say about him.

I still have no way to understand Galloway playing 4 minutes in yesterday's game.

 

I also agree that we must have Harris to be successful this season, but after his injury he isn't in the game shape required for U of L on the road.

He felt that Patterson was fouled on a rebound or something and he must've said one of those "no no" words - or the inexperienced ref didn't know how to swallow his whistle.
