Qryche11
Kind of suprised Highlands would throw their ace in this one, but good win for the tigers. Is that 5 bombs for Muench now? That kid can hit! Bird cage liner this morning said it was his 4th dinger.

That kid can hit! They only threw Towles 2 innings. Muench threw 2 innings and Head threw 3 innings. Yes, that is Muench's 5th.

Your right, I was reading Tuesday's liner today. Im a day behind. That is impressive, Muench looks to be one of the top MASHERS up here this year. How about Hunter Jones also going yard? What is it DMZ always says "Chicks dig the long ball"?

Water Boy
Why did they throw three pitchers? Or were they just getting hit?

happymeal
Why did they throw three pitchers? Or were they just getting hit? It sounds like they were getting hit!!! Coach Sanders has done a great job beating very good teams. Bellevue beat Highlands top 3 pitchers that's impressive!!!!!:ylsuper:
bjim
Why did they throw three pitchers? Or were they just getting hit? Towles pitched the first two innings. 4 k's, no hits, no runs. Maybe they're going to use him some today against Ryle. Muench gave up a dinger to Jones. Head didn't pitch bad, things didn't go well in the field for him. Highlands was up 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th only to give up the other 2 runs to hits and errors.

Nicknack1056
How does Highlands lose to Bellevue but then come back and beat Ryle by nearly 10 runs the next day? It seems that they only win when Towles pitches the majority of the game

Theoldguy
Just wondering if Bellevue had wished they were seeding for the 36th District, instead of drawing out of the hat with this victory over HHS this year?

tdyballgame
Just wondering if Bellevue had wished they were seeding for the 36th District, instead of drawing out of the hat with this victory over HHS this year? Said the same thing tonight at the Ryle game. Lucky for Highlands or not. They still might draw NCC just like basketball. Whoever they draw, they will have to throw Towles. Got to win the first one. Last nights game wasn't because of Towles, it was about some bad defense. Even still, I agree with you.
