If a job is not actually posted online to apply it usually means its an in house hire.  Is there currently anybody on the staff or in the school system they would be considering for the job?

If it is a school paid position (and it is) then the state requires the school to post the job online at some point. That doesn't mean that they aren't going to hire within but it will eventually be online even if its just for a day.

Yes I know this just saying that usually that leans toward sin house hires or they already have their short list of coaches they are going to offer the job to.

Bret Baierlein stepped in during season as interim coach.  He's been the defensive coordinator.  Not sure if he would even apply, but he would be the only one IMO.

??? Good catch, it might be, I heard Stonebraker was on the list as well, he’s a former Garrard Coach, now at Casey. It would take a lot for him to leave Casey I would imagine, but like I said I take everything I hear with a grain of salt at this point, small town acts like it’s an opening for Alabama head coaching job lol 

Another name to watch is someone down in LaRue County, not sure if they meant Josh or Marty Jaggers, but I’ve heard it tossed around, when I mentioned the list of names here, source said none of them are in the running, mean Crutchfield, Clevenger and Scenters are not being considered, but like I said grain of salt lol

Not sure to be honest, He’s been the one constant name in the past few days that I’ve heard, seems like it’s trending in that direction to me. The others mentioned on this thread are out. I don’t think any of the three mentioned had interest or were never contacted at all. But Jaggers has been mentioned a ton today.

Jaggers would be very similar to Perry as in run…run…and run the ball some more. Clevenger will open it up more as well as Scenters and Crutchfield likes to run the ball out of the pro style offense. Hmmm this could be fun to watch.

He applies for a lot of jobs. 

Hearing there has been a lot of interest in the position.  Sounds as if they will have a good selection from which to move forward.

Let be honest here. Jerry Perry got fired because he is the first coach in Garrard County football history to have 6 strait losing season I don’t care how salty he is. Facts are facts! And another fact. The Quisenberrys have no ties to the Lincoln County program besides knowing the Crutchfields. If Montavin was to transfer it wouldn’t be at a school that can’t make it out of the first round. Boyle County is the only logical choice if he where to transfer (but highly doubtful). Garrard will run their district the next 3 years and for everyone saying no one would touch this job is completely insane. Good luck to the Golden Lions in their search!
