Perry, Jeff Hester, Stonebraker, Scenters, Perry Again, I don’t think their were anymore in between there, boy Coach Hester would be a great one, even though he’s retired, don’t see him coming back, I feel like it will be Scenters if he wants it. 

Hester was the outside of the box one I mentioned. I don’t see him returning and I think they want someone who will be in the building. Hester has retired from teaching.

I highly doubt Jeff Hester would leave Centre College and that hire doesn’t make much sense. I also heard they’ve never offered the job to Crutchfield. Stonebraker could possibly be the dark horse and that’s why everything has been so quiet. IMO he would do wonders with this group of young men. 

Stonebreaker would be a great hire. With current roster GC may be able to win that district with Stonebreakers offensive mindset. He sure would shake things up at GC.

Nobody has been offered the job, or if they have, it's not public information yet. I would assume Scenters, Crutchfield, Stonebreaker all get calls this week. I love Coach Hester but I don't see him coming back, especially leaving Centre.

I was just mentioning past coaches. That’s the only ones I’m aware of, well since I’ve been alive anyways. My opinion the hire will be Mark Scenters, and with good reason, he Took GC to its only state Semifinal game and it just all around a great person, I don’t know if you all have ever met him but he’s a wonderful person as well as coach.

Nothing from my side, job is posted on the website though as of just a few minutes ago, I’d say we will hear some rumblings some time this week.

He’s a great person.  He lost lots of support at MC by playing his son at QB when he was clearly a OL/DL.

Support at MC was gone from the admin long before his son was playing QB. From the games I saw he may not have been a QB at that level, but he did seem to be the best option. Never known a coach to play someone they didn’t feel was the best option to win the game. Scenters would be a great hire for GC from what I have heard and seen!

That family will have no say in the hire and don't think they have implied as much.  Garrard is going to make a good choice and have good range from which to choose.  I wish we would leave this kid out of it.

I guess I should have said he lost any support he had by playing his son at QB.  I know the thinking was out there for 2 kids that could’ve been much better options that they had no shot to play QB because his son was there and didn’t play. 
 

His son played DE at Estill Co and played well this year, definitely the position he should’ve been playing all along.  He would do a good job again at Garrard Co.  His program at Mad Central went in the tank badly at the end due to lots of reasons, with his credibility with players being one of them.

I can promise you this administration knows what they’re doing. They’re not hiring someone just for the upcoming 3 years. This job is a little more attractive than what some people are making it out to be.
