Doesn't Foley have "home ties" to PC though? I know that sounds crazy because they are in the same county but, no matter what home is home, no matter if it's in the same county or not.

I also thought of him as well, he would be a great hire for PC in my opinion, could probably build on what coach Hines Has built there, another name maybe Josh Jaggers at Lincoln possibly? Not sure either would be interested, but PC contrary to popular belief is a good job in my opinion, better then most in the area.

Foley will drop his name in and I'd be shocked if he isn't offered right away, Outside of him I don't know who else will drop in, but it will be a very sought after job in my opinion.

Congrats to Boyle on the win. I'll say it again, Tavey was the best player on the field again, also Boyle loses that game without him.

I'm I the only one that thinks this game won't be very close? I think Boyle wins by 3+ Touchdowns, I might be wrong but that's the way I feel.

Not surprised, Tavey to me is a high D1 prospect, I think he's a little under rated Star rating wise, maybe doesn't get the national respect he should because he plays football in Kentucky.

Pretty sure he took a covid year so he could have an extra year of athletics, academics have never been a problem for him, you could ask former teachers, and current what kind of kid he is in the classroom, he works just as hard in the classroom as he does on the football field, teachers will tell you he is gold and possibly the best student they have in their classes. Super excited to see what the future holds for this young man!

That's one thing I love about haddix and the Boyle County staff they are always advertising their kids, from taking them to camps and showing them off, to the countless social media posts Haddix makes about his guys, only a select few coaches do that, and those coaches and teams win.

I know Danville is down but Mercer is clearly much improved from last season and might be the biggest surprise to me this season, they could very well win 3A and I'm here for it.

They have play makers, Cam Peak and Malachi Simmons as well, the line isn’t great, they are missing Andrew Sparks badly, offensive style of play has to change, I’m not sure what the answer is but I’m confident that between, Spencer, Hester and Scenters they will figure it out, all 3 have been head coaches and really good ones, I think they will get it going but last night was a disaster.

Did Mauri Brown not play or what’s up with that? I didn’t see any stats provided for him. Can’t imagine him not getting any touches. Sorry if I’m out of the loop but I didn’t watch the game.

I always heard it was Boyle County not Danville, can’t imagine him leaving Garrard For Danville, it’s not really an upgrade anymore, it actually might be a downgrade, depending on what sport he is wanting to zero in on, if it’s baseball I believe I’d stick with Garrard and Tee Ellis, coming off a 12th region championship appearance and might be heavily favored to win the 12th next season, they lose almost nobody to graduation.

I heard George Bakers name brought up, heard he will be looked at pretty hard for this job, already in the school system I believe at Danville

Cecil Combs was a fantastic coach, those were some of the best years of Garrard County basketball.

Just think about what this does for basketball at Boyle as well, Brown was started to break out in the district tournament, with a backcourt of quisenberry, brown and turner, it could possibly be the best in the region, and it may not be close.

Looks like Danville Is in a very very bad place, the amount of kids transferring out is alarming. Can anyone enlighten me as to why? Is it the coaching? The teaching? The administration? All of the above? I’ve been watching this over the last few years and it’s progressively gotten worse.

Awful hard to go against Jeff Jackson and the Patriots but man Danville look real solid against DCA.

Me too. Is it possible they are making bad decisions intentionally to force a Boyle-Danville merger? This is crazy lol, not sure if this is the hire just speculation but if it is I can’t believe you don’t try to do the right thing and save the school and program.
