Interesting job that will bring some good candidates. 

The current Garrard County coach will be the front runner. I can also see Sparrow from Campbellsville University if he's interested in coaching High School. 

Is this whole athletic department going in the ? since yeast left?? I'm just an outsider.

if Kasey McRay wants the job, then he will be a hard candidate to beat. He’s done a great job at Garrard.

It’ll be McRay or Sparrow. 

Will Coach Booher do a statewide search again, or keep it local?  IF local, those two are the obvious choices.  I would lean McCray because he has experience leading a HS program.  

What happened here? Did current coach resign or get let go?

High school coaching searches are the funniest thing to me.

 I think that Donald Smith is the AD and from what I hear............he is a joke.

I looked it up and Craig Yeast is the football coach and he is the only Yeast that I see mentioned.

I would rather not coach at all than to coach within an athletic department run by Donald Smith.

McRay is for sure who I would target. Has done a fantastic job at a school not known for basketball success. I believe Mercer needs to go after a coach that is willing to put roots down and build a sustainable program much like Lincoln, Pulaski and Wayne. Hard to do that when it seems like every 3 years you are hiring a new coach. Mercer County has great resources to be successful in the 12th region, and I think Coach McRay would get the most out of them.

This is an issue though from what I have heard around the community.
