Predicting interim tag for Roberts. Season goes well- he becomes official. Season doesn’t live up to expectations then it opens up as soon as season is over.

Casey County was in the region finals roughly ten years ago. What a drop off the next decade.

I’d say Pulaski will have a ton of interest. However, Pulaski does not pay their teachers as much as some surrounding counties. Some coaches would have to take a pay cut to go there. To me- it feels like Josh Roberts will get the job this time around.

This is a nightmare for Pulaski.

100 grand, only teach weight lifting class, closer drive to home.

Pulaski supporters are starting to sweat a little. Lots of changes going on at Pulaski with Superintendent changing. Pulaski admin knows of the Mercer offer but I’m not sure they are able to match. Will be interesting to see if they can find enough middle ground to keep Burns.

I heard Mercer is kicking the tires on several current head coaches. Mercer pays a much higher teaching salary than some surrounding schools, and are prepared to make a pretty big offer to some coaches. I have heard that Travis Burns took a phone a call but eventually said no thanks. I also heard that Levi Rogers got a call too.

Any news out there?

Is this long time head coach Shawn Thackers son?

Shocked to see that his long time assistant was not allowed to be apart of the homecoming.

No clue. Not sure they’ll find a better person and ball coach than Jon Bentley.
