LethalPG Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I seen Coach Carman was listed in their retirees that were recognized. He could be stepping down from coaching as well, but I haven't heard that. They may have to post it where he is retiring from teaching. 1

I would say that's not a bad accomplishment for a rural county school. There are a lot of schools that haven't been to the region finals in the last 10 years, big or small.

Just like a lot of schools, coaching turnover, players and parents not happy with the coach, players transfer to another school, etc. Right now, I think this is a very hard place to be as a coach. 2

The last time Casey won against their district opponents: Rock: 12/16/2022 Somerset: 1/6/2017 Pulaski: 2/23/2016 1

I do believe it is just a hard place to be a coach. Someone who loves the sport will always apply IMO. 1
