"Is NOT interested in that job."

This is what I was referring to and I am not wrong on this.

Sparrow is not applying, did not apply, and will not apply.  This came directly from his family and him.  He is on his way to Iowa with the Tigers.  And will be starting up his workouts with his academy and coaching AAU for Griffin Elite.  And will remain with CU an pursuing college opportunities at a bigger level.  He has received numerous phone calls for high school opportunities and loves what he is doing now.

The best young assistant in the 12th Region is Noah Young from Somerset.  Not sure he wants a head coaching job, but he has taken the lead on most of the scouting for Somerset this season and the resu

I was not forced out. I weighed it out over a 4 month period and based on the information I had, I thought it was best for the program.  But, in posting this…. I know you do that in support of me

Seems as if there are a lot of people creating false rumors about this job and who is interested.

This sounds like someone who is afraid he won't get the job. He is 100% interested and always has been. Heard last time it was open he "pulled himself out" at the end when he realized he wasn't going to get the job.

Why are he and the Tigers on the way to Iowa?

Girls team has advanced to final 16 in NAIA.  He has been on girls and boys staff this season.

Applications will be accepted until spring break.

I don't see Justice leaving Pikeville for Booher, who has to be close to retirement.

Easy solution is 2025 12th region COY McRay from Garrard. Alumni, him and his family are well respected within the community, has head coaching experience, isn't leaving in 3 years for another job, and has learned from Pitino and Greg Mason. I have no clue if he's interested, but that's who I'm calling. He's done a pretty good job with Garrard since he took over in a tough district. Definitely made some things interesting this year. I just don't know if Mercer can get the "big name" like Mays with their athletics program in shambles right now.

Mercer County superintendent Jason Booher is 51. He's gotta be decently close to his full tenure in the KTRS system at this point. My understanding is that they use an average of your three best-earning years in the system to determine your pension rate. Assuming the same thing goes for superintendents (not sure if their contracted-employment changes the scenario at all), I would think Booher would want to hang around for as long as he can stomach to try to end up with the biggest pension figure he can. Mercer County just jumped his pay by $34,600 this year, so I'd say he's gonna stay for at least two years, anyway ?

I knew the boys didn't make the big dance, I don't pay any attention to the girls.  I didn't know he was involved with both teams, actually I have never heard of that before.  I guess that's life in the NAIA.

Was Mercer County a consolidation of schools and if so, what schools? Not as familiar with that region as others.

Mercer Co. and Harrodsburg (the city school) consolidated in 2006 to create Mercer Co. Senior High School.

Consolidation of Harrodsburg Independent and Mercer County.

Way back in 1955 it opened as a consolidation of McAfee, Rose Hill, and Salvisa - all tiny communities in the county. In the fall of 2006 they absorbed Harrodsburg High School, which had been the independent city school.

I know 2 people who applied and 1 was contacted yesterday.
