Male was up 28-7 at halftime but Tigers fought back and came up short on 4th down at Male 20 sealing the win for Male.

I'd say you're not alone after the way this one played out. I really thought Male would win handily with so many of X's top defenders out. Not only could they not pull away, they were shutout in the second half.

This score leaves me way more impressed with the Tigers.

I think this year's St. X vs Trinity game could be a classic. 

Male is the top team in 6A.

But I still feel it's wide open.

Looking forward to seeing the highlights of this one. Saw it was 21-0 early and thought Male was going to run away with it. Hopefully a rematch is in store later this season.

I thought Sivori played better in 2nd half. Had some throws sail on him in first half including the interception. He ran for over 100 yards and took a beating doing it.

I’m very excited for a potential rematch, the 4 best teams in Louisville are head and shoulder better then the rest of 6A.

I agree. Coach Wallace also said they challenged the defense to be more aggressive in 2nd half as was giving to much cushion out of respect of Male's speed.

It was nice seeing a packed house. I'm sure the ticket receipts were nice on the business side.

St. X started two sophomores on O-Line. OT Tommy Rosenbarge who has started all year. Carter Guillaume played Center and I don't remember seeing any bad snaps. Sr. Blaine Donlon who was starting center moved over to guard due to hand injury.

This game is firing me up reading about it. St. X is going to continue to improve and build quality depth.
