The schedule is what it is at this point. Everyone would like to see a tough schedule for PT this year but that ain't possible or realistic now. Would need to buy out a current contract, find a replacement with the same availability and with a reasonable distance.

Congrats to both teams! Cov Cath earned the win by taking advantage of PT mistakes. PT will learn and get better from the experience. For the majority of the game they were probably the better team on both sides of the ball but you simply can't go on the road this late in November and have numerous dropped passes in open field, INTs from those dropped passes, bad snaps on punts, etc etc.

I don't think there is a team that can go to Mayfield and win. It also seems like they are the only school in KY that still has a grass field. Mayfield 35- Beechwood 28

PT has everything they need to win a state title. That is also true of the other teams still contending in 4A. The question for both teams will be not be who has the biggest strength/ advantage it will be who can expose the others weakness. I have watched very little Cov Cath this year. For PT they have really good size up front but I am not sure they can control the OL to establish a consistent running game against good competition. So being one dimensional I think could be a weakness. The long trip will also be a factor. It is nice that school is out so atleast you can leave Paducah as needed. My guess is a really fun and competitive 34-24 game with the home team winning. But I really hope that I am wrong. Neutral field I would take PT.

Logan is a solid team for sure. PT inability to get off the field on 3rd and 4th down in the first half was the biggest reason the game was in question at times in the first half. That can be fixed if they play again. PT, I hope won't be surprised by fake punts, etc in a rematch.

PT has played better than the score indicates. Remove a couple 4th down conversions and a big pass completion on 3rd down to set up their second TD and this is most likely a running clock. Still a lot of sideline warnings/ penalties and personal ffouls. But this team is going to be very, very good in the playoffs, imo

I don't go along with the PT fans feelings about refs working against them. However that call in the endzone just now was really, really bad.

Ouch. I like the early game on the schedule! Very smart.

Some might say this game won't be as close as it was a few years back when both programs were rolling. Those people are correct. Mayfield 54-14.

I got Beechwood here. Moving towards November and the semi finals.

I think this is for sure the second best team that PT has played this year. PT 48-20 I think PT gets out early and Logan scores a few late.

Hats off to them! They are having a great season and I look forward to see how the finish up. I believe!!
