Henry Steele
Score was 10-3 after the first quarter. Big props should go to the defensive job that Hacker, Barnes and Bezold did on Wilson. If they brought that kind of defensive intensity every night for 32 minutes, they'd be difficult to beat, even on nights when they aren't shooting well. B-Ball-fan
The Camels looked lost from the get go. Not sure how they got a pre-season ranking in the top 20 because nothing about them looked worthy of it. Holy Cross jumped out to an early lead and never looked back. 3's were falling like rain. Early in the 2nd quarter they were up 23-5. The Camels had a decent spurt and went on a little run closing the gap, and while mostly down by at least 10 or more throughout the game they got it within 5 when it was 35-30, then two quick 3's from the Indians erased any hope of it being a game, and never looked back from there extending the lead until the final horn, winning by 27. Aside from it being a HC team three ball clinic, Bezold is THE MAN and a workhorse at both ends of the court. Defending, rebounding, scoring. He's an all around competitive team leader running the show, always moving, always thinking, directing, being smart and effective in every move he makes. His D is tough, and more than not he's gonna get a piece of that ball, if not all of it, if anyone dare take it at him. Real impressed with his game. Looking at the HC players in warmups you might falsely get the impression that they look young and nothing to worry about, but in action they're a tough little quick team that doesn't stop. Even with the obvious size advantage of CC the scrappy feisty play of the Indians even managed to out rebound the Camels. Wilson even had one of his shots blocked. Holy Cross is for real and they're gonna bring it, so no team better sleep walk. Campbell County? ... They better wake up.

Qryche11
Can the Indians end the Region Tournament drought this year and beat Holmes? Wow this was a complete embarrassment for CC. Almost a 30 pt win. Who won frosh and JV?

B-Ball-fan
Forgot to mention that tonight was also a coach's convention of sorts. Represented was CovCath, NewCath, Cooper, Holmes, and a couple of other familiar faces that I wasn't for certain what staffs they belonged to.
