Is the GOP's New Frontrunner in Iowa a Member of a Religious CULT?

Recommended Posts

This bizarre little man who makes lots of bizarre statements is now leading the GOP clown parade in Iowa. His strange beliefs likely arise from his devout following of the Seventh Day Adventists(SDA). I know when I attended a large Southern Baptist church years ago, the pastor listed this group among several religious groups that may fall into the cult category.

Sabbatarian worship, "soul sleep," and annihilation of the wicked are but a few of the many very strange and out-of-the mainstream beliefs of these vegan zealots. They even have their own version of the Bible, The Clear Word Bible, that advances the teachings of Ellen G. White.

Anyone can see that a man with Dr Carson's intellect would have to have some strange influences in order for him to be capable of saying some of the crazy things that he does. In my opinion, one need look no further than the religious sect that many scholars deem to be a cult.

Some felt that the GOP party was headed up in 2012 by a cult follower in the Mormon Romney. This dude, while he has no chance of winning the nomination(but who knows with this crazy party), seems to be much, much more bizarre than even the Mittster.

Next time Carson says something odd, it probably reflects Ellen G. White's teachings and SDA protocol.

Seventh-Day Adventism - Orthodox or Cult?

I'll await your same in-depth investigation of the Democratic candidates' religions/"cults" after their "clown parade". Oh, and don't forget to include the socialistic ideas of one of your clowns. However, something tells me I shouldn't hold my breath on that one.

I could tell you to start your own thread on the topic.

I am much more inclusive than that, however.:thumb:

Well, I'd like SF's spin on the similar issue with the Dems. And am I not allowed to make a comment or ask questions in a thread? I try my hardest to stay of of these political threads but as you see I'm not able to. As a conservative, whether I'm a Dem or Rep, I get tired of being hammered on this site for being conservative.

Believe it or not socialism is seen by a lot on the left as a viable alternative to what we have now. But yet he is calling the GOP the crazy party. You can't argue with these people.

Really, I mean really, there are many more conservatives that post than others in the political threads. They usually do the hammering. If a person takes things personally then maybe the should stay out of the convos.

Now, I do not believe Carson is in a cult. I just think he thinks way differently than I or many do. I almost always lean to the Democratic platform (if there is such a thing in either party), but just because I disagree (a lot) does not mean I think he is in a cult or driven by Satan.

I don't know when it happened on a large scale but just because a person disagrees does not mean they are evil.

You're obviously reading me wrong, 75. I often see "go start another thread" in the politics forum.

But I ain't one of those who does it. Censorship rubs me the wrong way. As I thought my post made clear.

Didn't really take it personally, just my observation. You are entitled to your opinion as I am. I don't agree with you but hey, if we all had the same opinion it would be boring, right?
