16thBBall Fan Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 Here below is the link to the 2025 top 15 recruits according to Rivals. https://n.rivals.com/state_rankings/2025/kentucky
Mr. Sixer Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 Great list! Interesting that there are no QBs in the top 15. Definitely will have some QBs on the 2026 list. Austin Alexander will announce his college choice this Friday at 3:30pn. 1
BillNye Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 I don’t know the criteria for a 3 star, 4 star, or even 5 star. But Javeon Campbell has offers from every school in the SEC along with Ohio St and ND.

I think the top 5 are indisputable, but 6-15 could be interchangeable.
MaddenCurse44 Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 I'm surprised Dylan Stewart from Conner is not a 3 star yet.
TimeWillTell Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 Brady Atwell from Owensboro Catholic not on this list?? 2

Voice of Reason Posted April 18, 2024 Posted April 18, 2024 How to get on a recruits list: 1a ... Size 1b ... Speed 4 ... High School stats 2

I think in general: 5-Star - Elite size/speed and production or a true outlier athlete (Think of Darnell Washington being rated over Mayer lol) 4-Star - Usually elite production but slightly smaller and slower than the 5 stars. Or slightly more raw as a player, but great size/speed. 3- Star - Either a "project type" with elite size/speed or someone with elite production that is just smaller and/or slower. For your guy Hayden, I think he ends up here with how well he throws it and his production. A MAC or high FCS level player imo. For example, if Austin Alexander with his tape was 6'5/255 and a step faster instead of 6'3/245, I think he's a 5 star. If Quisenberry was 6'/190 instead of 5'9/160, he's a borderline 5 star instead of a 3 star. 6

High School stats I've had this conversation with many people over the years. College coaches can miss on kids if they are the right size. You absolutely can't miss on someone who is too small. That's why the list looks like it does.
