Sad to hear but know he's in a better place. PH was one of the posters I always remember being here when I first joined.

This is a very, very sad day indeed. PH and Mrs. PH are really true friends to me, and on so many levels this hurts. Both Mr. & Mrs. PH counted their BGP friends as true family. We are all as important to them as that. Mr. PH LOVED his Purples, but he LOVED BGP almost as much, and it meant so much to him to contribute his talent an knowledge. There is a big hole.

 

Some of our greatest football minds are together now. As mentioned, Birdsfan preceded PH. But also westsidedr and Alabama Larry. One can only imagine the depth and breadth of knowledge we have lost.

 

May God hold Mrs. PH close during these difficult days. And, Mrs. PH, we are all here for you to support you, not just now, but ALWAYS!

Very sorry to hear. Prayers for his soul as well as for Mrs PH and the rest of the family and friends.

I never met Mr. or Mrs. PurpleHaze but what I gleaned from their posts is that both of them were pure, unadulterated CLASS. I am saddened to hear of PH's passing and I can only hope and pray that Mrs. PH and the family will find solace, strength and pride in the memory of PH. His kind, to me, do not come around very often. Remember, time heals all wounds.

Very sorry to hear about PurpleHaze. Praying for his family and community from Simon Kenton territory.

I will never forget the day I met both of them at the state football playoffs. Also his many post of "Lets Twist". A sad day for our BGP family.
