My 1st BGP friend. Although we never met in person, we exchanged a lot of PM's over the years. I know he fought hard with a lot of different medical issues. May he rest in peace and be able to "twist" in heaven.

Really sad day, and nearly a year exactly after the passing of Birdsfan. In the early days of BGP, BF and PH were HUGE parts of what made this place develop, take hold, grow, and become the tight-knit community it is today. I had the pleasure of meeting PH a few times, and he was so full of passion and excitement, and would always enjoy talking about the CovCath / BG state title games back in the 90's. My thoughts are not only with him and his passing, but with his lovely widow who I hope is warmed by the countless great memories she'll have of the time they spent together.
