Trinity hiding from John Curtis Christian?

Recommended Posts

:rolleyes:JCC is trying to win one of the national championships. They are #! on Rivals and are taking heat for having a weak OOC schedule. They are trying to beef it up at the last second by filling an open date. Trinity has an open date on the same weekend. I think Beatty wanted the open date where it is to have an extra week to prepare for Moeller. Plus, it works out good too that we have time heal from a bunch of injuries. It is a shame mean old Trinity can't drop what they are doing and fit in a team team they no nothing about. Ridiculous that Beatty can't see the logic in placing the welfare of another school in front of his team.

As for Boscoe last year, it was reported on the local news that the KHSAA shot that down

Who cares? The opportunity is here now. Maybe it wasn't present a year or 6 months ago when schedules were made. It's here now and the chance to play one of the top 5 teams in the country will bring Trinity to an even higher level nationally. Plus, if it's really about the kids, don't you think Trinity's administration should do whatever it takes to make this experience possible, within reason?

Yes, because the class of 2013 has never experienced the exuberance and overwhelming joy of winning a 6A State Title in KY. Way to reach higher! :thumb:

How does it take them to an even higher level nationally? They're defending National Champs. Last I looked you couldn't get any higher than that.

Colerain has played several top programs over the last several years and with favorable results. Their schedule now, nor at any time in the past, has had the degree of difficulty that Trinity currently has. Always easy to sit back mid season and say I wish we played this team or that team this year when things are going well. All teams get a chance to schedule in advance for their own needs. Now this team from Fl. Realizes after week 7 that it needs to upgrade it's schedule to gain credibility for national title consideration, and Trinity is supposedly ducking after having sought out the GCL south, and several of the top teams from other surrounding states.

JCC knew they had an open date for over a year now. When did they decide that they would like to take a crack at T. Did they call in Feb. or in March? If not were they 'ducking' T by not trying to set up a game then? When did they find out that they had nine games. When did they realize their SOS was to weak for consideration for a national title.

Some one mentioned UK 1 and his antics anytime SK has a little success. Cardsfan, this all does sound a little familiar.

Let's be honest, T is not this year what it was last year. T is still the best in KY and maybe TN and OH but they understand their limits. Last year's team takes this game, no doubt and lays to rest any doubt about them being the best. This year's team; no chance.

What does that have to do with this thread? I don't mean that rudely, BUT, we don't shy away......you can't call in week 7 and ask for a game.

Khsaa shot it down, as well as international federation of high school sports and new jersey athletic association. Once you have won or lost in the post season or state game, the season is officially over. The game was tentatively scheduled to be played at Yankee stadium.

Um... no.

Last year's team doesn't take it either.
