This is a huge start for Castillo. He’s had a great start to what is becoming a breakout season. He got roughed up in the last start. The best pitchers can put that last start behind them and come out today without trying to do too much and have a great outing.

These guys are just unbelievable. Barnhart thrown out by fifteen feet trying to go first to third on a hit to left field. Reds base running and decision making is pathetic and just don't get any better. Took us right out of a scoring chance.

Yes, and that happens too much, especially on plays that they just have no chance on.

Agreed on both. I defend the Reds on a lot of things but some of the baserunning is inexcusable.

After Reds get the lead, Castillo comes out and gives up two straight hits and the gets a double play ball that Votto drops. Castillo just having a hard time throwing strikes and starting batters 2-0. He and Votto both need a check up between the ears.

Now Igelias gets a chopper and instead of taking the out at first he tries to flip it back to second and gets nobody out. Should have been out of the inning. I know I am posting negative, but this inning have been bad news bears at its best.
