We’re something like +30 for the year in runs scored, only team in MLB that’s a positive in runs scored for the year and has a losing record.

We’ve scored 14 runs total in Castillo’s last 2 starts and lost both games??

Didn’t think I would say that all year!

Blame all this on @nkypete for being selfish and not a team player and not sticking with the rotation. There is no I in team.

I got the split. No worries.

4 game series.

Did they announce on the tv or radio broadcast who will be getting the start tomorrow for the Reds?

I heard the say on the radio on the way home but dont remember exactly. Bringing up Lucas Sims or something like that. I think he is 3-0 with a 4+ ERA.

Basically walked a half marathon at GABP. The dogs and knees are barking. Gonna be stiff at work tomorrow.

I know...keep the faith, bro.

When we've had a thread starter go back-to-back this year, they are a combined 0-3-1 in the second series, with an overall record of 3-8 (not counting the two games in the Pirates series, so far). Obviously I'm wishing you well, Pete...but you'll be bucking history to pull off a series win.

I knew we had a new rotation, but I honestly thought it was a rotation for who had the next series AFTER a previous losing series. The rule for years has been that a winning series deserved another start in order to keep the momentum going for the Reds (which has been lacking recently).

....so cut me some slack!

:lol2: Slack given! :lol2:

Man, it's all good! We're all here rooting for the same outcome, however it may occur. Like I said before, I'm hoping you have good luck with this series. And yes, I know how it had been in previous years. But, it was a couple series ago that I noticed that we hadn't had any luck with "keeping the momentum" by having someone go back-to-back, even after a series win. When I looked into the "analytics" of BGP thread starting, I saw that ChickenWyngz had a winning series (3-0), followed by a split (1-1), and then a loss (0-3). Later on he had another winner (2-1) followed immediately by a loss (1-2), as did FutureCoach…a win (2-1) followed up by a loss (1-2). That was the only reason why I suggested a rotation on a per series basis (regardless of outcome), and it was strictly that...a suggestion. But obviously there's no hard, fast rules. It wasn't intended to be a personal attack on you, and I hope you didn't take it that way.

I'm just here to root on the Reds, not make enemies.

Votto our od lineup again. What’s wrong with Joey?

I thought maybe it was the pitching matchup...but, if you sit a guy for going 7 for 16, with two doubles, two HR's and six walks (.428/.591/.938)...then you should have your head checked. So, got to be something other than that. Is this one of those "planned" days off?
