Coaches of Multiple Sports

I was looking at some stuff, found out Jarvis Parsley coached Brooksville to a region championship in baseball AND basketball in 1944.

Are there any other coaches who have won a championship in two different sports in the same school year?

While at the KOB this year I was told the coach from Ensworth, TN was the Head Football, Basketball and Baseball coach. Someone on here may know about that but that is what i was told.

Matney from Johsnon Central came close in 2017, coaching the football team to a state title, and the wrestling team to a 3rd place finish. Both teams have won region a few times now I think.

Jeff Trame has won region titles in 4 different sports I think...Volleyball, Baseball, Basketball and Slow Pitch softball.

Bardstown's Garnis Martin won Class 1A football in the fall of 1970, then turned around and won boys' 1A state track in the spring of '71.

Dave Thomas from Pikeville won a 15th region title as head boys basketball coach (99), head baseball coach (91, 92, 93), and head softball coach (2017).

Not all in the same year but pretty impressive.

Does anyone know if Bart Rison accomplished this at Montgomery County? I know he was highly successful at both boys basketball and girls softball.

That was much more likely to happen in years gone by because there were so many schools who employed a coach for multiple sports.

During World War II (1942-1945,) it was especially more likely...because many coaches were drafted or enlisted in the war effort.
