Science Friction
Hounds led by 8 early in the second half but couldn't hold it. Corbin was without 565 pounds of flesh down low and it showed. Both of their big boys, Ethan Wine and Bayley Rice, were out. The Hounds would have had an excellent shot at winning if both bigs had played. The game was a two or four point contest with about 2-3 minutes remaining. Taylor had 22 , 10 , and 6 . Fitzgerald had 20 for the Maroons. Edited February 14, 2018 by Science Friction
Love the kids
Until the the finger pointing in the locker rooms stops and it sstops being Taylor’s team and coaches step up and take the team back over it will be a short tourney. When the supposed leader is telling kids they in the locker room they were the reason Corbin lost the game. Sending the team messages bragging to his accomplishments and he is the only player trying, and he doesn’t pass them the ball because they cannot do anything with it. Downgrading players that are playing injured. I was a huge Taylor fan even after the incident, but he is focused on scoring for personal reasons taking 33 shots in the Mercer loss while having one of the lowest shooting percentage of the main players. Corbin has not won the region since he has played so while gaining huge personal accolades he has not proven to be a team player. He is one of the best players I have seen in the 13th region but not the best leader or teammate apperantly. "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships. dognation2
Taylor and Fitz always go at each other. This was personal for both of them, they've been battling on the court for years.

Do you think the coach has lost this team ? Are they still buying in to what he's telling them? They looked so damned good in the Knox Central game. The sharing of the ball was beautiful to watch. They just carved up a good KC team that night. It hasn't been the same since "videogate."
Love the kids
I honestly believe they are so far out of sync, they will be lucky to recover, Taylor has lost all respect of his teammates with the finger pointing and bragging, they are ready for the season to be over. The coach only supports two players on the team. It’s always someone else’s fault for the loss. Well, I have never seen anyone come in for Corbin and just lay down on purpose. We have Kids playing with torn Labrums, MCL strains, sick and one five months off ACL repair, these kids while definitely not as talented as Taylor have just as much will to win. Leaving Taylor in games when subs are in for everyone else and the other team has subbed in only to get Taylor extra points is not classy. I wish it wasn’t this way, I really thought this team would be special, but seems allot of people are drinking the individual kook-aid instead of team concept. I know parents have had enough. Like I said I think Andrew is an awesome player. This team needs a complete overhaul hopefully they can get it done in the next week. Still love this team but they are definitely in a squabble. A lot of what you have written is pretty much what I have observed as well. The KC game was a thing of beauty. They absolutely looked like a Top Ten team that night. It's crazy that it all went away so suddenly. They were on course to doing something really special. Maybe they still will make it a special season but they are running out of time to pull it together.

One day you are promoting AT and team, the next day seems you're agreeing with negative comments.

One day you are promoting AT and team, the next day seems you're agreeing with negative comments. I agree that I am doing both. I want to see my team and its players do well. I have no trouble promoting them the best I can. However, I must be honest and agree with the assessment above that team play has given way to individual play and the team, as it always does in that circumstance, suffers. Hopefully , they can come together as one and win a couple of tournaments over the next few weeks.

Mercer has seen some of the same things. There is a connection with the coaches. I don't blame the kids at all though. Coaches 100% are in charge of setting the culture of a team. game you would kinda understand what they were concerned about. I posted about that game earlier and it just seemed like Taylor was really pressing that game. I've seen him play many times and he has a tendency to take a lot of shots but they typically don't take other people out of the game. This day he was out to prove something....could have something to do with the incident. But he took too many shots that took the other players out of the game.
