Agree on Quisenberry. A big part of his game is catching the ball. If he isn't getting the ball in the same way he was last year could hurt his production as a receiver as it is hard to throw it to yourself. Boyle's incoming guys at QB may be better than Dawson but it is hard to be a D1 QB. Not sure they have had many at Boyle. Dawson was really accurate and could also hurt teams with his run game.

I agree. With her stats the last couple of years and success on the big stage at the state tourney she was very deserving. I was very impressed with her at state this year.

Dawson was D-1 QB right? Do they have another D-1 QB on the roster? Bodner another big loss too. They will no doubt have good options at QB but all unproven at this point.

College coaches miss on players all the time. It's called the T-shirt/shorts All Americans at the summer camps. Players that look the part, have all the measurables but put the pads on and are not football players. Coaches will trust measurables and 40 times more than the tape/production which can cause them to lose their jobs if they miss too many.

She is a great player. Any info on why she committed to Liberty as an 8th grader? I think she could be a power 5 player. She looked better than the player from Butler that has committed to UK.

I would be ok with both boys and girls being at Pulaski every year. They have the nicest gym in the region.

He won two region tournament games at Mercer in 5 years and they were all in 2018 season with Mr. Basketball. One district championship in his time at Mercer also in 2018.

If you go in both gyms it is obvious Mercer holds more than Boyle. I would say they hold more than Lincoln also. Mercer's bottom and top level both look larger than Lincoln's.

I will say after this year 12th region needs to take a look at how they are doing it. Lincoln's gym is past its prime to host region. During player intros players couldn't hear their names for starting lineups for the girls. Lighting is bad there and not enough room for a big game. I would play both the boys and girls every year at Pulaski or look at adding Mercer. Mercer has the newest gym in the region and holds more than Lincoln. I'm not here really to make a push for Mercer. Pulaski has the best place to host in the region and its not even close.

Hard to play a 3 OT game and come back next day and play championship. I wish the Semi and Championship weren't back to back days.

Pulaski won by 3 about a month ago at Pulaski. They held Ellis to 15 and first game for Mercer without Barnes. Pulaski had 4 people in double figures that game.

Mercer got beat by SW by 14 two weeks ago. There are no easy games in the region tourney with Rupp on the line and Sr careers coming to an end. Teams just play different in region.

I give SW a ton of credit that whole tournament. They had the toughest road of anybody and came out on top. That's why I am never too concerned about the draw when it comes out. Mercer definitely choked. There is a picture of the last play and literally Mercer had two players that could have walked in for a layup. SW had 5 defenders collapse on one Mercer Player at the top of the key and rest is history.

Correct and Mercer had a top 5 team in the state in 2018 and was upset by Southwestern.

Agreed 45th has been strong historically but I would say down this year. Region champs since 2006. Lincoln 4, West Jessamine 3, Wayne 3, Boyle3, Pulaski 2, Southwestern 2.

I am not saying this is what they should do or the approach they should take just the facts that whoever they bring in is going to struggle with their current roster.

A key player from Danville is enrolled at another school that I haven't seen mentioned yet. They will have a hard time over the next few years without adding transfers.

They are a good program and had a ton of success in the 12th region. I have never seen a roster as bad as what they have now at West. They will need someone that can bring in transfers in the short term to have any success over the next 2-3 years.

Ashton Drakeford of Mercer County got his 1st offer over the weekend from Akron. Listed at 6'3 175lbs played WR, RB & QB on offense and DB on defense.

Jones had 24, Daniel had 19 & Radford. 10 for East.

Yeah could definitely be a good game if Mercer doesn't come ready to play. In post season if you take any team for granted you could go home sooner than you think.
