The atmosphere tonight was insane. If I didn’t know any better I’d think Mercer County was Boyle County’s biggest rival. It was a highly spirited game. The players were into it, chirping at one another, a double technical, an intentional foul, screaming student sections, screaming parents, screaming coaches and everyone left it on the floor and went home. It was awesome. I hope there is a rematch in March. It would be the most fun game of the region tournament.
