I did not anticipate this move. The move I was expecting the Pats to make was coaxing Megatron out of retirement. I also think that its way too late in Brady's career to trade Garapolo.

They didn't take his contract to be their qb. They took his contract to get another 2nd round pick because they had so much money to spend this year they can afford it.
