Giants @ Reds (5/14 - 5/17)

The Giants come into town for a four game series. Cueto takes the mound tonight for the Reds.

Should be a fun weekend with Star Wars night on Friday (please let the weather cooperate) and Johnny Bench Bobblehead on Saturday Night to the first 25,000 fans.

From what I understand the plan is for the reds to go with a 4 man rotation over the next several weeks. May 26th and June 6th would be the only times they would need a 5th starter. When they need a fifth starter my guess is Lorenzen and Iglesias could both split the start each going a few innings. Until then the plan is to possibly use Lorenzen and Iglesias if they keep him up out of the pen. This would help to limit both of their innings over the next several weeks. Price made some comments referencing a similar plan to this.

Day-to-Day to with turf toe....Of course, Meso's been DtD for over a month now, so who knows?

No roster move announced, but Price has said that Iglesias will stay with the team and be available in the bullpen starting next series.

Villarreal optioned back to AAA.

Chapman in to pitch the 9th. Nothing can go wrong now.

48 hours rests seems to have served Aroldis well.

Byrds numbers are inching up slowly but surely. Another good game last night.

I was a little worried about that game when I looked up and Cueto was down 2-0, but they rallied and got it done. Last night was a must win for me to get a W for this thread.

Had the pleasure of serving a few of the Bengals defensive players last night, including Rey Mauluga, Jayson Dimanche, and two others. They had five in their group all together. Kinda cool to BS with Mauluga a little.

Marquis vs. Bumgarner tonight.....Yeah, this one is probably going to be a bit one-sided.
