Colonels_Wear_Blue
@Cats3x ...Poynter has been around the block and he's a great coach. He's taken on tough jobs, and given the correct support, he's done well with them. He was the HC at Bellevue most recently. That was a tough one for him, driving about an hour and 45 minutes each way to work, and dealing with a program that is really struggling for players and support. All State Baseball
What can you tell us about him? What type of offense an defense does he run? Where is he from? Bath has some talent coming up. Former Bourbon County and Bellevue head coach. He spent 3 seasons at Bourbon County (17-17) and 2 seasons at Bellevue (14-10)
fanofyours
I'm glad Bath is getting a good coach. Coach Poynter deserves a shot and will do well at Bath. If there is any talent he will figure out how to get the most out of the kids. I hope it is his final stop and he has a long career at Bath. Good luck!! All the Right Moves
Poynter will have 15 SR's on this team all with varsity experience (and nearly as many JR's). He and his staff will have the Wildcats in competition for the district title this year.
