hoops5
All meets at Silverlake require spectators to take a shuttle. Did not know that. This is our first meet at Silverlake. What is the set-up for spectator viewing? I know no spectators on deck. Are there viewing windows or a seating area? Thanks!
birddad
Silverlake has a great spectator/stands area. It is really a fantastic facility and we should all thank Richard D., Mark K. and everyone else involved for making this happen. It will benefit the kids greatly to be swimming in this pool to qualify for state.

Oldbird
Is there any place to see a schedule of Saturday events? Girls diving was this morning, Boys diving is going on now. Swimming finals start tonight at around 5:30ish. Diving is at Scott. Swimming is at Silverlake. Thank you Panda for all you do. Whenever my son sees you he always comments how much he appreciates your pictures (he runs track/xc). You provide some great pictures to all NKY kids. hoops5
Is there any place to see a schedule of Saturday events? 5:40 start. Events will be numbered the same way as yesterday---if your kid swam in event 1 yesterday and qualified to swim today, then they are swimming in event 1 today. hoops5
Silverlake is a very nice facility to hold this event. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers for this swim meet. I will say that I was disappointed with the Senior Recognition. In past years there was a parade and seniors got to walk around the pool and be recognized. With parents not allowed on the pool deck, and with the bleachers packed to capacity, I'm sure there were many parents who could not even see their senior as they were being recognized. (I could not see our seniors.) Allowing all the seniors to walk around the pool would have been a sweet addition to the schedule that would not have taken up that much more time. Swimming is a tough sport. These seniors worked very hard to get to this point. They ALL deserved a few more minutes to be recognized.
loubballfan
Girls Diving results Carly Hill HHS 1st Karly Crail ND 2nd Madison Rylee BEE 3rd First and Second are auto state qualifiers - 5 regions = 10 girls Next 22 highest scores from across the state get at large bids = 22 Total state qualifiers =32 Last year all 12 finalists from the N Ky region (#4) made the state meet. IMO, if the girls dive to form, state meet will be won by either Carly Hill or Erin Duffy from Sacred Heart and no-one else will be close! Graduated four division 1 level girl divers from last year's meet so talent is way down this year and after the top 2 it is wide open!
Clyde
I saw a tweet that said CCH won by over 200 points. I will assume that's sort of a blowout but I really have no clue.
