Oldercoach
2016 Beechwood grad and star athlete Brett Slusher gets 3 catches, 50 yards for UK in yesterday's spring game. A playmaker extraordinare for the Tigers walked on for the Wildcats last fall (in what I suppose was a redshirt year). I strongly suspect before his career is over, he will be a productive offensive fan favorite. Good size, speed, great route runner, and very good hands. Cats need to get him on the field. katbird
Former QB Patrick Henschen from NCC also saw some time at TE as a walk on..I believe he had 1 catch..
ColonelPops
Maybe Slusher can take the Charles Walker role - walk-on to productive scholarship player.
Jack of all Trades
Anyone know how Tyler Pack did in the kicking game? I watched the first half of the game via SEC Network and this team has a looooooooooong way to go.
newarkcatholicfan
Slusher was a stud, when I watched him and one of the better players I got to see during his senior season.
Voice of Reason
As good as Slusher was in high school and the accolades he received, I think he was under appreciated. One of those players who could almost single handedly win a football game for his team. He is right up there with my favorite Beechwood players ever and nothing he achieves will surprise me. I look forward to seeing what he does next.

Jack of all Trades
He left the team. So is he transferring or has he just become a student?
BlacknGold
So is he transferring or has he just become a student? Not entirely sure on that. Last time I heard he was looking at EKU for school.
SLINK
I think Slusher can fill the Charles Walker role. Chuck, chuck, chuck.

I think the kid from LexCath is going to fill that role since they gave him a scholarship this year.

UK#1fanisback
I think Slusher and Henschen got reps was because several players didn't play.
Phantom 5497
Uphill battle for him, he was fun to watch in HS, truly a great HS player. I can understand him wanting to challenge his game and play SEC D1, but would love to see what he could have, or would have done if he had played down a level or two. Best of luck to him
oracle93
Congratulations to Brett as he was placed on full scholarship following the bowl game. He played on all special teams this season as a redshirt Sophomore.
