Who will be the top 10 teams in the state to start the season? Doesn't mean they will finish top 10 but based off projections the top 10 to start.

St. X beat Great Crossing twice over the summer in OT so they will most likely be #1 and #2. I'm not sure how the rest would shake out. I know Male in 7th Region should be very good with Cole Edelen back.

In no particular order: Butler county, Adair county, St X , Manuel, Walton Verona, Newport, GRC, Great Crossing,  Henry Clay, Boyd. With Male, South Laurel, Douglas being right on the cusp. Some of those teams are playing a very weak schedule and prob aren't "real" top 10 but will because of weak schedules. 

St Xavier and Great Crossings will stay toward the top of all lists for this year imo.

Sorry.  I missed Manual.  My Top 10 (in no particular order) would be: Manual, Male, Great Crossing, Cov Cath, St X, Cooper, Bowling Green, Trinity, Frederick Douglass and Butler County.

I forgot Newport. Definitely Top 10. Take out FD.

Solid list, I agree take out Douglas. And unless BG has picked someone up they weren't the BG of old at least in summer ball. Very weak compared to previous years.

Adair made state last season and beat Marshall County first game. They return their top 7 players from that team with their top 2 Cochran and Loy being looked at by D1 schools, especially the 6'7 Cochran. Their schedule is pretty solid this year as well they'll be in the KOB, play Bowling Green, Warren Central, Evangel Christian, Owensboro, Lyon County, the 2A tournament, as well as some of the top teams from their region.

Don't know why you replied to my comment with that statement because as I posted I think Adair will be in the media top 10 to start the season. But make no mistake while Cochran is a good player(hope he has healed 100% from his injury) Loy is who makes that team go. Plus they benefit from playing in one of the weakest regions in the state last year by record. But they will be top 10 to start in my opinion.....
